How It Works
1
Video Sources
Anything with an HDMI output — or a video URL — can feed DisplayHUB. Satellite receivers, over-the-air tuners, streaming boxes, game consoles, PCs, and IP video streams.

2
Raspberry Pi Encoders
One Raspberry Pi per HDMI source captures and encodes it into a low-latency network stream — off-the-shelf hardware you can buy anywhere and repurpose if needed. Add more inputs any time by adding another Pi.
3
Your Existing Network
Streams travel over your router — no new cable runs to every TV. Ethernet gives the best stability and lowest latency; WiFi works well too on a solid network.
4
Pi Controller & Web Dashboard
A dedicated Pi runs DisplayHUB — automatically discovers encoders and displays, no manual IP config. From any browser: route sources to screens, manage overlays, view EPG via XMLTvListings.com, fire IR blasters, and toggle smart power plugs for signs, lights, or any AV equipment.
5
Smart Displays — No Set-Top Boxes Needed
Displays run a native DisplayHUB app — no extra hardware boxes required. Supply loaner Android tablets so customers can watch their specific game at the table with headphones.
