Encoders
Video Sources and Stream Monitoring
Encoders are the devices that create video streams for DisplayHUB. These may be tuners, cameras,
capture devices, or any hardware that generates video to send to screens.
What This Section Does
The Encoders section shows every video source currently detected on the network. From here you can monitor
stream health, access device controls, and manage how sources are used throughout the system.

Finding Devices
Click Refresh to scan the network for newly added encoders.
If an encoder is powered on and reachable, it will automatically appear after a refresh.
Encoder Controls
- Configure — Opens the encoder’s built-in web interface (GUI) for direct device configuration.
- Delete — Removes the encoder from the list. If the device is still online, it will reappear automatically after the next scan.
- Open EPG — Available when the encoder has an XMLTV guide ID configured. Opens the program guide.
- Open Remote — Available when the encoder supports native remote control or IR control.
Monitoring and Statistics
Each encoder panel shows real-time operational data such as stream health, performance,
and system metrics. This helps confirm the source is running correctly and delivering video.
