To our current DisplayHUB "legacy" users, your systems are secure and will not be shut down. The legacy system(s) are being retired and converted to the new system on per venue basis, if your rep has not reached out or if you are considering the update, please contact us.
Some things to consider if you are using the legacy system
- The hardware from the legacy system is not compaitble but the wiring is. You can use the Ethernet cabling to hardwire new players to your existing displays.
- The legacy systems have nearly zero latency, with the new system, the best we can offer is roughly 500ms of latency, provided your displays have decoders capable of playing the low-latency option.
- This is not a software update; this new system is a ground-up, newly innovated system.
- Free updates are not available; again, this is a whole new system. Your rep can explain why.
- The legacy systems will continue to work for the foreseeable future.
The legacy system has served hundreds of clients with nearly a 99.999 uptime for the last 8 years. We appreciate your continued support. Upgrade discounts are available to existing users; however, the installation will require professional installation.
