Assign Displays
Send Video to Screens
The Assign Displays page is the heart of the DisplayHUB system.
This is where you choose which screens will show the selected video source.
What This Page Does
After selecting a source, this page lets you assign that video to one or more
playback devices (decoders).
This is where most day-to-day operation happens.

Source Preview and Information
At the top of the page you will see a preview of the selected encoder along with
source details.
This area may include:
- Program guide (EPG) access
- Remote control access
- Now playing information
- Source details and notes
This information helps confirm you are assigning the correct source.

Selecting Displays
Below the preview is the list of available playback devices.
These devices come from your Dashboard configuration.
If a device exists in the system, it appears here.
Displays can be sorted using the available sorting controls to help locate
specific devices.

Understanding Selection Status
- Displays already showing this source are automatically selected when the page loads.
- Assigned displays appear highlighted in green.
- You can select or deselect devices before applying changes.
Assigning the Source
To send the video to displays:
- Select the devices you want
- Click Assign Selected at the bottom
Your selected displays will immediately begin showing the source.
Clearing Selections
Use Clear to remove all selections before assigning.
This does not change what devices are currently playing —
it only resets your selection choices.
How This Connects to the Dashboard
All available displays and sources are configured from the Dashboard.
If a device or encoder is missing here, verify it appears in the Dashboard first.
